Microsoft 365 Family gives up to six people their own fully installed versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook, with Microsoft Copilot built directly into every app. Each member of the household gets their own independent setup — their own apps, their own storage and their own account — so everyone can work, study and create without getting in each other's way. Each person can be signed into up to five devices simultaneously across PC, Mac, tablet and mobile.
Storage is generous by design. Every member receives 1TB of personal OneDrive cloud storage — 6TB across the subscription in total — with built-in ransomware detection and file recovery keeping everything safe. Files, photos and documents stay accessible across all devices, with a Personal Vault folder for the most sensitive content, protected by two-step verification.
Security runs across the whole family too. Microsoft Defender monitors everyone's phones and computers continuously, scanning for viruses, malicious apps and ransomware and guiding each user through any action needed to stay protected.
On the creative side, Microsoft Designer brings AI-powered image generation and photo editing to every member. Clipchamp steps up with 4K export, brand kits, filters and effects — a noticeably more capable video editor than what's available on the free tier. Teams supports group video calls with up to 300 people for up to 30 hours, with Copilot assistance built in to help manage conversations and summarise discussions.
Every feature, security update and improvement is delivered automatically across all six accounts, and Microsoft support for Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 is included throughout.
